Statement on the Transparency Act
A prerequisite for being able to contribute to improvement is to gain an overview of the challenges. Transparency is therefore crucial, and it pushes the clothing industry in a positive and correct direction.

Organisasjonen The organization consists of management, administration, finance, department managers and store employees.

Please read more about Texcon's work regarding the Transparency Act:b https://www.texcon.no/apenhetsloven/
U. Aandahls has an open supplier list. A list of some of our suppliers can be found on Texcon's website; please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.
The guidelines describe how U. Aandahls Eftf. AS shall carry out due diligence assessments for our value chain, business partners and operations, how we shall conduct responsible purchasing practices, have a zero-tolerance policy for corruption, etc.
It is important to have close follow-up and that working conditions are controlled by both external, independent control and certification companies and our own employees.
The guidelines also describe our expectations for our suppliers, and how we, as a responsible company, follow up and implement measures.
Through dialogue and collaboration with suppliers, the goal is to create a good working environment and good working conditions for factory employees, and to identify areas that need improvement.
Those suppliers who are unable to meet the requirements will not be chosen as a partner.
Due diligence assessments mean that U. Aandahls must map, monitor, and assess risks to people, animals, and the environment related to our operations and implement measures where necessary.
The purpose is for us to have an overview of potential risks, and to prevent and avoid negative outcomes and consequences. We also collaborate closely with Texcon, who monitors the suppliers we cooperate with through them.
Our values:
Purchase clothes for our customers with the right quality and as many pure products as possible, such as linen, wool and cotton, which have a longer lifespan.
U. Aandahls also offers a service that repairs both new and old clothes. From replacing buttons, zippers and to larger tasks, this helps clothes last much longer.
U. Aandahls has also started using Fretex donation bins where both customers and our departments can donate damaged clothes that cannot be repaired.
